Donna L. Whitaker is the founder and owner of Commercial Real Estate Services. Donna has worked in the commercial retail industry since 1985, representing national retailers throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Today, Donna's focus remains on site acquisition, anchor tenant acquisition and negotiation, tenant site selection services, and pre-development responsibilities on a joint venture basis with various development partners including locally-based Ellis-Gibson Development Group (EGDG).

Michael A. Culpepper is an attorney and real estate professional now serving as President of Commercial Real Estate Services. Michael joined CRES from Williams Mullen where he represented clients in all facets of the commercial real estate deal. He has extensive experience representing developers, lenders, landlords and tenants in the design, negotiation and implementation of complex real estate, financing and land use transactions.

Michael graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1999 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He later graduated the University of Richmond School of Law as a John Marshall Scholarship and T.C. Williams Scholarship recipient.

Steven D. Green is a 1986 graduate of Virginia Military Institute and is an Associate Broker and Vice-President for Commercial Real Estate Services. Steve has worked in the Mid-Atlantic commercial real estate market for over eleven years. Steve has extensive experience in representing landlords and tenants of various types of shopping centers and single-tenant properties.

Matthew L. Lafler joined Commercial Real Estate Services as a Leasing Agent in March 2001, and became Senior Leasing and Sales Associate in December, 2002. His focus has been on leasing shopping centers and power centers in excess of 750,000 square feet. Matt is also very active in tenant representation and holds numerous accounts of public and privately-held companies. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University in 1999.

Fiona M. Blackmore joined Commercial Real Estate Services in July of 2007 as Director of Marketing. Fiona now serves as a Leasing and Sales Associate as well.  Fiona prepares all marketing materials, coordinates advertising and assists in small shop leasing for CRES. She also is involved in tracking the firm’s leasing activities, lease and contract administration and assisting in real estate closings.
